About Neurosurgery
NeuroCare Network has three neurosurgeons, all Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery:
Guy O. Danielson, III, MD
Charles Gordon, MD
Stuart Crutchfield, MD
Strong emphasis is placed on minimally invasive technology such as microsurgical
procedures.
When the diagnosis is more complicated, such as degenerative disc disease and
internal disc disruption, NeuroCare Network neurosurgeons offer the latest technology
in spine surgery. When spine surgery is recommended, surgical techniques that
are less invasive are preferred, and result in reduced recovery time and provide
greater pain relief. Our goal is to return the patient to activity sooner and
to increase activity levels.
State of the art Stereotactic guidance systems are used for intricate intracranial
surgery. Deeper brain structures may be treated safely thanks to advanced technology.
An individual approach to patient care is enhanced through an interdisciplinary
team of physiatrists, pain management specialists, and surgeons working together
to determine an accurate diagnosis from which all treatment follows.
Our team of neurosurgeons are pioneers with a long history of leading the way
with new surgical procedures, the latest being the development of an artificial
disc. NeuroCare Network is currently participating in clinical trials for an artificial
disc.
